Toshiba said the Food and Drug Administration cleared a new line of the company's wide-bore Vantage Titan 1.5-Tesla MRI systems.
The new 1.5T Titan series features a sleeker exterior and soothing patient lighting around the 71-centimeter bore, and comes in 8-, 16- or 32-channel systems, according to a Toshiba press release.
Toshiba said the 8-channel Titan was an "ideal workhorse" and the 16- or 32-channel varieties provide enhanced resolution for cardiac imaging.
