MultiCare Health System has partnered with Tellica Imaging, a subsidiary of Intermountain Health, to launch three outpatient imaging centers in Washington aimed at expanding access to MR and CT services.
The new sites, located in Auburn, Bremerton, and Tacoma, opened Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Operating under the name MultiCare Tellica Imaging, the facilities are providing diagnostic imaging with radiologist interpretation, lab work, and IV contrast when required. Flat-rate pricing is available for all services, and the centers are expected to begin accepting most insurance plans by early 2026.

“Given the high cost of health care for many patients, our goal is to create an affordable diagnostic imaging solution for our patients,” said Tim Lynch, SVP and chief administrative officer at MultiCare. “Tellica Imaging provides a high-touch, easily accessible retail experience.”
The new facilities mark Tellica Imaging’s first entry into Washington state. The Utah-based organization currently operates imaging centers in Utah, Idaho, and New Hampshire.
“Our imaging centers won’t just help patients, but it can also relieve the backlog of appointments at local hospitals for providers,” said Brad Isaacson, president and chief operating officer of Tellica Imaging.
MultiCare, based in Tacoma, is one of Washington’s largest community-based health systems, with 13 hospitals and a network of outpatient and specialty services across the state. Intermountain Health, Tellica’s parent company, is a not-for-profit system headquartered in Utah.
