Technical Prospects has adopted the new brand identity of DirectMed Imaging.
Technical Prospects has adopted the DirectMed Imaging name, combining as a single brand and point of contact for medical imaging parts and service.

Based in Wisconsin, Technical Prospects supplies parts and coverage for CT, MR, cath-angio, C-arms, general X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography scanners designed by Siemens Healthineers. In the summer of 2023, the company was acquired by DirectMed Imaging, which has over 60,000 MR and CT parts in stock that it sells or uses to repair and maintain scanners developed by GE HealthCare, Siemens Healthineers, Philips, and Canon/Toshiba for healthcare networks, imaging centers, and independent service organizations worldwide.

Under one brand name, the two have greater technical expertise available, more parts and inventory locations, and enhanced training and support.

“Hospitals and service organizations cannot waste time when their engineers need parts or support. With both companies formally working as one team, we can deliver our clients a more powerful resource to meet their critical timelines,” said Tanner LoRusso, vice president of sales for DirectMed Imaging, in a statement.

As part of the integration, Technical Prospects will adopt the new brand identity designed and introduced by DirectMed Imaging in November. It includes a new logo, visual identity, and inspiring brand concept, Comprehensive Made Simple.

The change by Technical Prospects in branding comes almost two months after the sale of its field service division to Crothall Healthcare, which expanded Crothall's presence in the Northeast, upper Midwest, and Western regions of the U.S.

DirectMed Imaging’s other subsidiaries, parts supplier LBN Medical in Denmark, which it acquired in 2022, and ScanMed, which specializes in MR coil design, manufacturing, and repair and is based in Nebraska, have already done so. DirectMed Imaging also acquired ScanMed in 2022.
