Catalyst MedTech is expanding national deployment of its Full Access Neurology platform, a model designed to support implementation of brain PET imaging programs across U.S. healthcare settings.

The Pittsburgh-based company said the offering combines imaging technology, clinical workflow integration, and operational support to address barriers that have limited broader adoption of brain PET. These barriers include capital requirements, staffing constraints, and infrastructure needs, which have slowed the integration of biomarker-based imaging in neurology.

The platform incorporates the CareMiBrain system, along with quantification tools, service and maintenance support, and flexible deployment structures intended for neurology practices, health systems, and research sites.

Interest in brain PET has increased alongside the use of imaging biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. Industry activity has included the launch of dedicated brain imaging clinics, reflecting demand for diagnostic tools tied to emerging therapies. However, implementation at scale remains uneven.

“Today’s neurology care is to be defined by equitable access to advanced imaging for earlier diagnosis and more confident care decisions across Alzheimer’s disease and other neurologic conditions, including Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, brain tumors, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), and psychiatric disorders,” said Martin Shirley, president and CEO at Catalyst MedTech. “The availability of FDG, amyloid-targeting agents, and emerging tau-targeting agents amplifies the need to create access through advanced technology, proven clinical models, and new workflows from a single source."

Catalyst MedTech, formerly TTG Imaging Solutions, is applying a model it previously used in nuclear cardiology, where it focused on combining equipment with service and operational support. The company reports more than two decades of experience deploying imaging programs in clinical settings.

The company said its network includes approximately 175 nuclear medicine technologists and multivendor service capabilities, supporting PET, PET/CT, and SPECT systems.
