TTG Imaging Solutions has acquired Acceletronics and RadParts.
TTG Imaging Solutions has acquired independent service company Acceletronics and its sister company, parts distributor RadParts.
Located in Pittsburgh, TTG facilitates sales of new and refurbished equipment and provides clinical applications support, parts and nationwide service to nuclear medicine and molecular imaging providers. The addition of Acceletronics and RadParts expands its footprint across the U.S.
Acceletronics evaluates performance and service reliability of linear accelerator and CT scanner models designed by major OEMs. RadParts is an independent distributor of OEM replacement parts for linear accelerators and radiation oncology equipment.
“We began this journey into LINAC in Q1 of 2022 with the acquisition of Vanguard Solutions, and I welcome the team members from Acceletronics and RadParts into the TTG family,” said Matt Mastarone, president and CEO of TTG, in a statement.
Acceletronics is based in Exton, Pennsylvania and its services are independently audited to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
TTG has two centers of excellence for equipment refurbishment in Houston, Texas and Stokesdale, North Carolina. RadParts is located in Michigan and adds a third location to TTG's refurbishment and parts footprint.
It offers replacement parts for Varian, Siemens, Elekta, Philips and GE linear accelerators, and has over 65,000 parts, including more than 3,200 individual line items for linear accelerators. It also facilitates same day, next day, two-day express, ground and international deliveries via all major airlines and major shipping companies.
TTG has expanded its pharmacy physically and through partnerships, along with its clinical technologist footprint. It employs over 260 personnel and has more than 65 nationwide field service employees. It is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certified in sales, repair, refurbishment, installation, parts, and servicing of medical imaging devices.
Among the companies it has added to its portfolio are Cardiac Imaging Solutions, which provides outsourced nuclear, echo and vascular testing models for practices; and TTG isotopes, which offers radiopharmaceuticals, including cardiac imaging agents, custom compounded iodine therapy and tracers for general imaging.
“We have known for a long time that having capabilities on the diagnostic service side was the next evolution for our organization,” said Acceletronics and RadParts CEO Larry Day.
No financial details about the deal were disclosed.
TTG did not respond to HCB News' request for comments.
