Zonare releases a new ultrasound for the premium market

Zonare Medical Systems said Thursday that it released a new scanner, the ZS3, for the premium market.

The Mountain View, Calif.-based company said the upgradeable scanner uses the company's fast Zonare Sonography system and comes with a five-year warranty.

Zonare, which got a product in second place in this year's Best in KLAS for general ultrasound imaging, said it has installed 6,000 ultrasound systems worldwide since launching in 1999.
