Former Boston Scientific Chief Operating Office Samuel Leno has joined the board of directors of Lantheus MI Holdings Inc., the parent company of radiopharmaceutical outfit Lantheus Medical Imaging. He'll also chair the board's audit committee, the N. Billerica, Mass.-based company said Thursday.

Before retiring from Boston Scientific in December, Leno had served the company as executive vice president and COO. Leno has also worked for Zimmer Holdings Inc., Arrow Electronics Inc., Corporate Express Inc., Coram Healthcare and Baxter International Inc. Previously, he also served on the board, and the audit committee, of TomoTherapy Inc., which was bought by Accuray last year.
