Viztek said Monday it has placed 150 orders for its ViZion digital radiography panels since the product launched Feb. 15.

The 17x17 panel comes in fixed and tethered versions, and can also be used to retrofit analog X-ray rooms. So far, the Garner, N.C.-based company said it has installed around 200 DR units in total.

Last month, Viztek released a ViZion DR for mobile X-rays. The company said the 14x17 cesium-tethered panel and integration kit, which works with most portable units, is priced under $55,000.
