But being a health care professional last night I was thinking about their medical relief which is too important at this moment, as you have been learnt that mostly hospitals of effected areas have been collapsed completely or some where partially, mostly doctors & nurses of thes hospitals have also died.

We want to install a field hospital there with your kind co-operation, what so ever you can do pleae do not hesitate to contribute in this good cause!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Dr. Philip,

Words fall short to appreciate humane behavior of people like you. I have been eye witness of Bam tragic earthquake in 2003. Many people perished because of lack of early medical treatment of first aid treatment. What is needed after earthquakes , is medical treatments to the survivors and rescue the ones under ruins . We have established a group of volunteers all educated people mostly physicians to rush to the site of natural disaster stricken sites. We are looking for any means that can be used for such occasion and also a field hospital. We shall appreciate if you kindly introduce to us people, organizations, or companies that manufacture such equipment or can give information.

I feel very strong relief with your mail, God bless you and your team, this is a very tragic incident in our country Pakistan. Cities near the earthquake center Muzzaffarabad is 70%, Balakot, Abbotabad are 100% destroyed physical layer of that area has been changed/moved. All major hospital clinics are destroyed, they defiantly need medical equipment and supplies. Please Contact Pakistan Consulate in New York, they will receive your relief.

Thank you for your E mail and Concern about our safety. Thank God we were not hurt and our region remained safe though the quake was terrible. Mainly the demage struck 250 Kms north and demage is severe. Last day on TV I was informed of need for portable X Ray units. Similarly there are appeals for money donation and we are actively working on it through "Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry" of which I am an executive member.
