The FDA and ALD will host a joint symposium on light-based technology in dentistry on December 8, 2008 at the FDA facility in Silver Spring, MD.

The symposium will provide an overview of the impact that light-based technologies have on dentistry, how these technologies interact with oral tissues, the impact they have in the practice of dentistry and other health care professions and the potential of these technologies.

Presenters will include practicing clinicians, academicians and researchers from across the country. There is no fee and eight hours of continuing education credit will be provided by the ALD. To register, contact the Academy of Laser Dentistry at:
