BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
Pro Medicus Limited, an Australia-based medical imaging company, has secured a seven-year, $33 million (AUD $53 million) contract with BayCare, a leading healthcare system in Florida.
Under the agreement, Pro Medicus’ U.S. subsidiary, Visage Imaging, will implement its Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform across BayCare’s network.
The deal involves replacing BayCare’s existing PACS with the cloud-based Visage 7 Viewer and Visage 7 Workflow modules. This transition aims to provide a unified diagnostic imaging platform throughout BayCare’s 16 hospitals and numerous outpatient facilities.

BayCare serves the Tampa Bay and central Florida regions and employs more than 32,000 staff, including over 800 physicians. The health system provides a range of services, including behavioral health, pediatrics, ambulatory care, and home healthcare. It is also expanding its graduate medical education programs, with plans to increase its residency program to 650 physicians by 2029.
“BayCare joins our rapidly growing list of integrated delivery network (IDN) clients,” said Pro Medicus CEO Dr. Sam Hupert. “They also join the 70% of all Visage 7 North American clients to opt for a cloud-based solution, which, as a result of our CloudPACS strategy, is becoming the standard in the North American healthcare IT market.”
In January, the health IT provider signed a
$30 million, seven-year agreement with Duly Health and Care, a major multispecialty medical group in the Midwest U.S. In late 2024, it signed a
