Medical equipment industry leader, Robert ("Bob") Stanley Feldman has passed away at the age of 82.
Bob was president of International X-Ray Brokers (IXB) and a founding member of the International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers (IAMERS).
IXB was established in 1987 as a small buyer and seller of preowned imaging equipment based in Needham, Massachusetts. Bob ultimately bought the company in 2007 from founder Joel Greenberg.
The IXB website puts forth the mission statement, “Do what you say when you say you’re going to do it and do it right the first time.”
As a business owner, Bob emphasized the value of relationships, and described his employees as family.
In addition to being a founding member of IAMERS, Bob was a long-serving member of the organization's board. IAMERS president, Diana Upton, described Bob as a "great contributor" to the success of IAMERS.
