TTG Imaging Solutions has rebranded as Catalyst MedTech, marking a strategic effort to unify its services and emphasize innovation in healthcare.
The rebranding reflects the company’s evolution over two decades, during which it expanded through acquisitions and developed a nationwide presence. Catalyst MedTech president and CEO Martin Shirley described the new name as "a statement of our mission to lead transformation in healthcare," uniting its teams and service lines under a cohesive brand.
Catalyst MedTech will operate in three primary areas:
Equipment solutions: The company provides both new and refurbished nuclear medicine and molecular imaging systems, including Digirad-branded devices. These systems support hospitals, imaging centers, and physician practices by offering advanced technology at varied price points.
Service and maintenance: Catalyst MedTech delivers repair and maintenance for imaging equipment through a network of service centers and field engineers nationwide. It also supports original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with specialized programs.
Clinical solutions: Through its DIS division, Catalyst MedTech offers diagnostic imaging services such as SPECT, PET, and PET/CT, along with mobile nuclear cardiology and ultrasound services. These solutions are designed to integrate with healthcare providers’ existing workflows.
“By uniting our service lines and teams under this fresh brand, we’re creating a stronger foundation to serve our customers and their patients better than ever,” said Shirley, who joined the company in 2023 through its
Digirad acquisition. He served as TTG Imaging Solutions executive vice president of sales, marketing & clinical operations before being appointed president and CEO in February of 2024.
In addition to Digirad and the TTG businesses, the companies incorporated under the new name include Advanced Nuclear Consultants, Acceltronics, RadParts, Absolute Imaging Solutions, Nuclear Imaging Services, Northeast Electronics, Molecular Imaging Specialists, Southwestern Imaging Systems & Service, Osiris Medical, Medical Imaging Technologies, Diagnostic Imaging Solution, Omni Diagnostics, Cardiologic, Lakeshore Isotopes and NISotopes.
