Hyperfine has inked new distribution agreements to expand its Swoop low-field portable MR imaging system into Turkey, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.
“This year has been pivotal for Hyperfine, setting the stage for significant international growth in 2025,” said David Castiglioni, Hyperfine's chief commercial officer. “Our new partnerships strengthen our global presence and reflect increasing interest in portable MR brain imaging to address critical healthcare gaps.”
The agreements build on earlier 2024 expansions across thirteen European countries, as well as India, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The Swoop system’s portability and affordability are positioned as solutions for underserved areas, particularly in remote or emergency settings where conventional MR access is limited. Hyperfine emphasizes the system’s ability to deliver point-of-care imaging, enhancing neurological care worldwide.

In October, Hyperfine received CE approval in Europe for its ninth-generation AI-powered software, bolstering its regulatory credentials. With established distribution networks spanning North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and now the Middle East, the company is poised for further adoption of its technology in 2025.
The Swoop system, cleared by the FDA for brain imaging in patients of all ages, provides an alternative to traditional MR equipment by offering ultralow-field imaging that can be used at bedside. This capability aims to address disparities in neurological care by overcoming logistical barriers associated with standard MRI systems.
