To prevent workplace constraints from altering speed and accuracy for breast cancer diagnoses, GE HealthCare has developed MyBreastAI Suite, an all-in-one platform made up of iCAD’s ProFound Breast Health Suite with three workflow algorithms.
MyBreastAI Suite will leverage ProFound AI for DBT, SecondLook for 2D Mammography, and PowerLook Density Assessment to automate different parts of the cancer detection process to decrease burnout among radiologists, result variability, backlogs, and breast imaging costs, and increase access and equity.
It will be distributed in the U.S. first as part of GE HealthCare’s Senographe Pristina mammography portfolio.

“As screening guidelines continue to evolve and more attention is given to personal risk factors such as breast density, these kinds of tools are an important and exciting addition to our comprehensive portfolio of breast imaging technologies,” said Pooja Pathak, vice president and general manager of mammography for GE HealthCare, in a statement.

rose 15% following the solution’s unveiling, reported Seeking Alpha.
The three algorithms offer a range of capabilities:
- Profound AI for DBT: Prioritizes caseloads and clinical decision-making and may reduce burnout with its lesion Certainty of Finding and Case Scores capability; trained on one of the largest available 3D image data sets.
- SecondLook for 2D Mammography: Marks regions of interest on screening and diagnostic mammograms with GE HealthCare’s full-field digital mammography systems after initial readings.
- PowerLook Density Assessment: Standardizes breast density evaluations and reduces result variability among different radiologists. Also simplifies and standardizes reporting and stratification to help clinicians explain density assessments made by AI mammogram analysis accurately and in simple terms.
