A fire that broke out last weekend at the Ohio Nurses Association headquarters has completely destroyed the building, with damages estimated to be more than $1 million.
The fire began Sunday at around 1:30 a.m. at the ONA building, located at 3760 Ridge Mill Drive in Columbus. While no one was in the building at the time and no injuries were reported, the fire has been deemed “suspicious” by fire arson investigators who have launched an investigation into the cause,
according to The Columbus Dispatch.
“We were regrettably informed of a fire at the ONA Headquarters this morning. The fire, which is suspected to have happened in the early morning hours, has resulted in a total loss and the cause is not yet known. Though this is a disaster, we are thankful no one was hurt,” said ONA president Robert Weitzel in a statement.
