Stamford, CT - Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, Inc is pleased to announce that the group purchasing division of Premier, Inc, Premier Purchasing Partners L.P., has selected Fujifilm as a contracted supplier for direct radiography (DR). Fujifilm's complete line of DR table and upright systems, including the leading Velocity™ SpeedSuite™, are listed on this contract.

Premier members will benefit from several distinct advantages of Fujifilm DR (FDR). Fujifilm offers facilities the choice of two similar but unique DR detectors, both of which provide the highest resolution and fastest image availability of any DR system on the market. The design and reliability of FDR systems provides facilities with the lowest cost of ownership over the life of the system. Fujifilm is also the only vendor to provide consistent image processing and a consistent user interface for both CR and DR images; this is a great benefit for Premier members expanding upon their existing FCR. CR, Digital mammography, PACS, film and imager contracts are also held between Premier and Fujifilm.
