Fellows who are a part of this clinic are responsible for every aspect of Cardiovascular MRI and CT, including communicating with referring physicians, monitoring the study acquisition, post-processing of the data, and interpreting the results.

Fellows are required to attend the weekly cardiac cath and vascular surgery conferences as well as a cardiac MRI conference twice a month. Fellows are also expected to conduct at least one research project, which should be presented at a national or international society conference and submitted in manuscript form to a peer-reviewed journal. Dedicated research time will be provided for this purpose.

This fellowship is currently open to radiologists only. Candidates will have successfully completed an accredited diagnostic radiology residency, be ABR-certified or eligible and must be able to obtain a license to practice in Illinois.
