A new partnership between Israel’s DiA Imaging Analysis and Neusoft Medical Systems (NMS) in China may enhance diagnosis and patient care for people with heart conditions.

DiA has agreed to integrate its automated software tools with Neusoft’s ultrasound line of products to provide accurate and reproducible images of the heart for doctors to analyze and evaluate in faster time.

“There are some applications with similar clinical purpose, but most of them are only post process function and the work flow is very complex,” Cheng Shan Li, Ultrasound BU General Manager from NMS, told HCB News. “Compared with them, DiA's software provides good work flow and the algorithm is better. It can support our ultrasound system to get diagnoses in real time.”

The integration will allow doctors to better assess heart conditions using a type of cardiac automated test application called Auto EF. It also will eliminate the need for electrocardiograms, making imaging analysis quicker and simpler.

“The ability to evaluate the heart's condition without the need to connect the patient to an ECG provides an easier, less complex and much faster workflow than other methods,” Tlalit Bussi Tel Tzure, a spokesperson for DiA Imaging Analysis, told HCB News.

The agreement strengthens DiA’s presence in China by enhancing the distribution of its technology for improving patient care and creating opportunities for further development of cardiac solution applications.

DiA partnered with Australia's Central Data Networks (CDN) in August to integrate its software with CDN's CardioMotion (PACS/CardioSR web), Cloud based solutions, and other products, to create fast and accurate reproducible imaging analysis to enhance workflow from anywhere and at any time.

The enhancements to Neusoft products will be available to all of its customers.
