Toshiba's New MR System Offers Patient-Friendly Features and Efficient Exams
Helping healthcare providers diversify their MR imaging offerings and reduce their exam times, Toshiba will showcase its newest MR system at RSNA—the Vantage Titan™/cS Edition (pending 510k clearance). The 1.5T system offers a suite of innovative applications to help improve patient comfort and workflow. To ensure a positive patient experience, the system features a 71 cm bore, feet-first exams and Toshiba's exclusive Pianissimo™ noise-reduction technology. Helping clinicians increase workflow, Toshiba's Vitrea® Extend application permits clinicians to complete post-processing at a separate workstation, potentially allowing more patients to be scanned in the MR system. The system also offers an optional CardioLine+ application and SUREVOITM Cardiac technology to automatically detect anatomical landmarks for fast and accurate cardiac MR exams.

Toshiba Enhances its Vantage Titan 3T for Fast and Reproducible Neurological and MSK Imaging
Expanding the utility of MR imaging, Toshiba is introducing enhancements to its Vantage TitanTM 3T MR system to help clinicians improve the reproducibility and efficiency of neurological and MSK imaging. Toshiba's Saturn Gradient and Atlas SPEEDERTM coils have been upgraded to enable high-quality images of soft tissue and cartilage to help clinicians make diagnoses and provide rapid, effective treatment. These technology improvements help in neurological exams, which is particularly important with concussion and brain trauma cases. The system also accommodates a large range of clinical needs by pairing high quality images with a variety of patient-friendly features, including a 71-cm patient aperture and Toshiba's exclusive Pianissimo™ noise-reduction technology, among many others.

Toshiba's Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound Capabilities Provide Safer Exams and Help Improve Diagnostic Confidence
To expand the clinical utility of ultrasound, Toshiba will be showcasing its comprehensive contrast imaging package on the AplioTM 500 Platinum and Aplio 300 Platinum systems. Given the recent FDA approval of ultrasound contrast for characterizing liver lesions in adults and pediatrics, the Aplio Platinum Series' contrast-enhanced ultrasound capabilities allow clinicians to make more confident diagnoses and may help reduce the need for additional CT or MRI exams. The Aplio Platinum Series provides powerful clinical imaging tools for advanced visualization, quantification and intervention. This delivers a less expensive and safer diagnostic imaging option with no radiation.
