The MAGGUARD is an MR safety device used to protect patients, hospital staff and MR scanners from accidents caused by translational attraction of ferromagnetic material. The patented Magneto-Impedance (MI) sensor technology, developed by Fujidenolo, is capable of detecting Pico Tesla level changes in the magnetic field up to a 2m radius.
