May 18, 2016, IBA -- Just like previous years, IBA is the diamond sponsor of the Annual Conference in Particle Therapy, which is organized by the PTCOG association. By supporting this event, IBA helps PTCOG promote science and technology as well as the clinical applications of particle therapy, with the ultimate goal of improving treatment of cancer to the highest possible standards.

The overall goal of the PTCOG conference is to inform, educate and promote to the delegates the global activities of particle therapy. By sharing the latest technical and clinical results, we aim to drive the development and acceptance of particle therapy within the field of Radiation Oncology.

IBA is honored to be the diamond sponsor of the PTCOG in Prague. Not only is Prague a beautiful city but it is also the location of one of IBA’s customers: the Proton Therapy Center, Czech. In December 2015, the Czech Center celebrated its 3rd anniversary, having treated more than 800 patients with Pencil Beam Scanning technology. In 2016, the Center expects to treat its 1000th patient.

Program specials organized by IBA during the PTCOG conference:
