March 09, 2016, Washington, DC — Radiology and imaging professionals will gain needed clinical education expertise to deliver valued-based care at ACR 2016 —The Crossroads of Radiology®.

“Emerging health care models are changing the way physicians make patient care decisions, whether in large academic medical centers or small rural practices,” said Cheri Canon, MD, FACR, chair of the ACR 2016 Program Committee. “The focus now is on achieving higher patient satisfaction and care quality, better population-wide health outcomes and reduced costs,” she added. “At ACR 2016, diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists and interventional radiologists will improve their practices with extensive clinical education sessions,” said Canon, “including ones with emphasis on advancing lung cancer and mammography screening practices.”

ACR collaborates with a number of allied societies — and delivers top-notch educational programs to provide diverse offerings. Below is a partial list of the 35 sessions in the ACR 2016 Clinical Education Pathway.
