Used radiology equipment dealer Atlantis Worldwide LLC said Friday it opened a new office in Miami, in part to better reach the booming Latin America market.

The Yonkers, New York-based company says the new office and its 2,500-square-foot warehouse, a five-minute drive from Miami International Airport, will help the company expand in South America, Mexico and Puerto Rico, as well as throughout the local area.

"We have seen significant growth in our customer base and level of interest in our products and solutions," Aston Diaz, sales director with the Miami office, said in a statement.
Services offered by the company include construction, site planning, training, financing and interim rentals.
