ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), the nation's largest group of board certified ear, nose and throat surgeons and allergists, just got bigger.

ENTA announced that it's merging with Otolyrangology Associates, adding two new offices in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the practice.

One of the locations will be a brand new office Park Slope and another will be in Bay Ridge, which will complement an office the practice already has in the neighborhood.
Four physicians from Otolaryngology Associates will become a part of the ENTA team. Four otolaryngologists, Drs. Mohsen Habib, Ramez Habib, Christopher Song and Francisca Yao, will work in the new offices. An allergist, Dr. Milo Vassallo will also be seeing patients at the two new locations starting in October.

Drew Franklin, the senior manager of marketing and practice development for ENTA, said that it made sense for the merger to happen.

"It seemed like a perfect fit that we have a booming practice in Bay Ridge and [Otolyrangology Associates] have a booming practice in Bay Ridge," Franklin told DOTmed News. "It seemed like a fit for our company, for us to merge and combine resources."

Franklin said the merging allows the group to pool the expertise and advanced medical practices of its specialists for their patients.

The merger will become effective on August 1. ENTA currently has 110 physicians across 33 office locations.

"We're most excited about expanding our presence in Brooklyn," said Franklin. "We started in Westchester and as we branch out, it's nice not to just open an office in one area but to really establish our practice in an area," he said.

The new office in Park Slope will be located at 406 15th Street. The Bay Ridge location will be at 7333 6th Avenue in Bay Ridge. The existing ENTA office in the neighborhood is located at 802 64th Street.

The practice also has a clinical alliance with Mount Sinai Medical Center for the treatment of head and neck diseases.
