Calling on Canadian officials to "get their act together," Robert Atcher, chairperson of SNM's Government Relations Committee, discussed the latest developments in the medical isotope shortage at the SNM annual meeting's press conference.
"Let's call it like it is and say that Canada assured us that there would be a long-term solution and Canada needs to deliver on those assurances," said Atcher.
Atcher talked about the potential European sources for the isotope supply but also pointed out that the transportation process will continue to be a challenge.
