I,m looking to change fields can anyone tell me of a good training facility or program out there for diagnostic imaging. I have exp in chillers, ac/dc, electromechanical, microprocesser control, Lasers and 20+ yrs field service and support for IBM large system products. I am researching remedpro since they offer training, is this a good company and what is the hire rate or need for techs in this field any help will be greatly appreciated. Garry Williamson
I have used two training centers for education of our service engineers. They are DITEC and RSTI I suggest you contact them both to see what your needs are.
DITEC (440) 519-1555
RSTI (800) 229-7784
Remedpar is one of the best for DI training out there. One of the biggest problems of servicing systems as a third party is the work-arounds for their proprietary fixes. Remedpar does this quite well, and also provides excellent support once the training is completed.
Garry, please send a contact phone number or email address to me at claybuck@aol.com. I'd like to talk about some options that are available in the MRI service field.
I attended training from manufacturer for Siemens and GE and also attended DITEC and RSTI. I like the 3rd party being GE puts you in class with non GE trainees that shows me the wont tell us what they tell their own. Siemens had me in with Siemens trainees and they went into detail on the course but a lot of areas are password protected and we cant access them without the pw. Ditec and RSTI have a lot of info on equipment that the manufacture dont tell you. The manufacture dont like to think their equipment has any faults, thats why 3rd party info helps.
