Does anybody knows if I replace the battery on a HDI 1000 do I have to reload software?

Well, not. You replace de CMOS Baterry? Is battery is necessary only for boot the motherboard. You have video in the monitor?

Thank you Doscar, yes a I have video on the monitor and the machine is booting up fine but it doesn't recognize the probes, what do you think the problem could be?
Do you think is a software issue?
Where are you located?

It is problem the external battery. (You can see the external battery up to Power Supply and next to DSP Board). The problem is the date of machine.. check is updated. If the external battery (In the motherboard have other battery too) is bad the ultrasound lost the date and no recognize the Transducter.
