If the system recognise the probe when you connect it but you do not have any image the first think you have to check is the power supply and then the BF board.

Did you try to test the probe in another system?
Did you get some kind of error?
The ultrasound system works with another probes?

It happens with all the probes? If so then your beamformer is faulty.
