Dear friends, I have a problem on a LORAD IV. At turn on gives the message "NON SYSTEM DISK OR DISK ERROR. REPALCE AND STRIKE ANY KEY". This is the frist time I found a LORAD IV system with a HDD!!I need to replace that disk. I don´t have any info about it and how to load the system software when the disk is replace. There is not a floopy disk with the SFW in the site.
the drive is located in the operator console. have you tried reseating the cable and verify the power supplies are good? I never reloaded but I have cloned another drive then redid the configurations.
but if you have the floppy insert in the console floppy drive have power off the turn unit on it will load the software from the floppy to the harddrive. just select language. it will then show remove floppy and reboot, it will take longer than normal to reboot due to unit rebuilding patient database.
I will see about getting a copy of the floppy just would need to know version you need

Lenny...the site is out of town and nobody can verify that. At turn on this is what You can see in the screen " CARD-386 bios versión 3.10C"

no not really that is just the BIOS version. I am trying to get a few different copy of the disks from a friend however he is on vacation until next week

I Have hdd problems my system still starts but sometimes stays frozen, the operator console is ver. 2.1.1, do you have the floppy disk?
