Hi to all, I have a question about a MX8000 IDT IRS, the customer bought an IRS from a vendor and while trying to install the software is failing the install IRS software, all other modules install fine. Questions, the IRS came with a 6 slice software, but the system is a 16 slice CT, I was sent the 16 slice software from the vendor and he said that the hardware(IRS) is the same for 6 and 16 slice. Is this correct?
Yes they are the same however there are 2 different versions a Pentium 3 and a Pentium 4 what version software are you loading I will see if I can find any notes?

To all. I am installing version 3.2.0, it's a pentium III IRS, and part number 4535-670-18591, is side by side with the main computer on a small cabinet next to the operator no on a separate rack.

yes, dear friend is the same hardware, but they exist 3 diferent types of this two IRS and one CIRS
