I have an Encore 2007 Version 12.5, the language was accidentally changed from English to German while trying to get in the correct Service password. Can anyone help me bring it back to English without reinstalling the program.
carefully edit a file called lunarstart.ini using a text editor in the encore folder which may be on the d drive inside another folder. Once you have the file in an editor, clear out past the = sign on the line that contains
Locale=
so the above is the only thing on the line. Save the file and restart. Hopefully I am remembering correctly. I had the same thing happen to me. Do a search for that file to find it if you need to.
Thank you for this info, the CPU is Pentium4 WinXP and sometimes has sudden display blackout possibly glitches.
Your correct it definitely changed the lunarstart.ini when we tried to get into service. Very fortunately we were able to do a system system restore yesterday and thank God it work.

Gerardo,
If I understand your questions here, you would want to go to control panel and click on languages, you'll be able to change the language from there.
Good luck
