Hello,
Physicists found my Litho unit has a Hi Contrast resolution issue. Here's the following found by physicist : Minimum Resolution = 2lp/mm x (15cm/(FOV in cm))
1) 18cm FOV requires 1.7lp/mm - UMP observed 1.4lp/mm ***( I can verify 1.5lp/mm with a Gammex LinePair Phantom)
2) 12cm FOV requires 2.5lp/mm - UMP observed 2.0lp/mm ***( I can verify 2.1lp/mm with a Gammex Linepair Phantom)
What can I adjust or will have to replace a part? I have no service manuals for this unit.
Thanks for any help.
which unit is it. normally this could be a sign of a bad II but it could also be a calibration issue. I normally perform a complete generator calibration then calibrate the doses and recalibrate the image chain.
If you let me know what system it is I might be able to help you with the manuals
Basically Hi contrast resolution is focus. First check to see if your camera has a lens. If so then you can try adjusting the optical focus while observing a resolution pattern during fluoro. There may be an electrical focus adjust on the camera also. These adjustments will affect over all focus on all FOV so if you improve the 12 cm FOV it should also improve the MAG. There are focus adjustments on the II power supply for each mode also. But I would try the camera end first.
Anyone have a manual or you can send me an image of where the adjustments are located from manual to jeremiah.kiblin@nfmmc.org ? I have no drawings or schematics on this Lithotriper.
