Data is lost between DAS and Receiver output. The transmitter is on my desk and supplied with 15VDC.
The power LED is on. When I apply laserlight to fiber input the signal LED never lights up.Is it the correct way identifying the transmitter?
Anyone has experience on it?
Of course I'm gonna replace this part when I find it. I am not sure that it is faulty, maybe the receiver?
Dear Friends, can you help me?
Hi! You can test it so fast. Put the gantry stationary position, take out de fiber cable, and conect it directly on the board. Make test transmition. If problem disappear you'll have transmiter or recevier fault

Yhank you. In fact, I have done it. An there was no answer which, cable, transmitter or receiver is at fault.
Finally, I opened the transmitter and find the specification of the fiber frequency. By the help of an old mobile phone camera and TV remote control I could identify the faulty part, the short fiber optic. Visible light transmission of a fiber does not mean good function on near infrared wavelenghts.

Have you try replace fiber cable? It is easy to find? I thinks your fiber cable is not good

Yes, the short fiber cable was at fault. Surprisingly, the cable transferred visible light and not the near infrared which the system designed for.
