I am stuck. I have three Advantx 1 systems. They boot just fine with the application 5-1/4" floppy. None will work with the Rad/tools service Floppy. Any suggestions.. I have a tube going out.
A couple of things: You must first boot the system in service mode using service disk 1 (Boot/config), then you can select through the menus. You will need to put the proper floppy in (without rebooting) when running the particular application you need.
Next, my understanding is that the boot/config service disk is locked to a particular machine and can't be used in another one. That may not be true in all cases, but I have run into that problem.
You need to use the service disk 1 first to get into service mode then put in the Rad tools disk. The white service disk 1 is locked to the system ID number. I hope you have disk one for each room or you will need a red disk and a new white disk number one service disk.
