Hi im havin a little problem with an acuson 128 xp10, the problem is that I already changed the batteries but now that i want to put the encriptions codes the system says they are invalid i have the codes printed out and was ok but the system keeps sayin they are not valid am i doing soemthing wrong?
is there any chance i can check the serial number in the system besides the one printed on the body plate?i have in the body plate the serial 13725 but maybe somebody changed the plate
thanks i found it ans is correct acording the plate, i have the codes print out for this serial number but when i enter them the system says invalid encription code i dont understand is the first time this happen to me
i went where you told me and have this messages
INVALID ENCRIPTION FOR MAIN
INVALID ENCRIPTION FOR XDCR
I have 3 diferents papers with diferents dates with the same codes so what do you think is happeneing?
thanks
The "INVALID" messages are normal when the codes are not in the system. Proof read your entries, any one of the 208 hex number entries wrong, can invalidate the save.
Good luck.
hi thanks for your time, i put several times the codes and achecked everything was exactly as the printed one but it keeps saying is invalid do you think soemthing wrong is bad besides de codes?
thanks again
You said you changed the batteries...check them for correct voltage 3.9v, The CVC board has battery backed ram and you might have a bad board, unable to write the code into the ram.
thanks, i have another board from another acuson,i put it into the system but it says invalid code too i think the serial numebr is somewhere into the bord and doesnt match. how can i change the board for a good one ?
The serial # chip is on the OC board...a replacement CVC will have codes FROM the system it was in...you have to reload YOUR system's codes into the new CVC.
If the new CVC shows INVALID with your codes, try the OC next. Don't forget to swap out the serial # chip on the OC board.
All this is based on the assumption your codes are indeed good.

Go to the same menu where you input the codes. View the "Configuration Report". The system s/n is at the top of the page. It should match the plate.
