I'm working on a Picker PQ 6000. I basically change the filter inside the collimator because it was cracked and by mistake moved one of the motors. I tried to calibrate the unit, but to my surprise I cannot enter the service menu. I use Login: root Password: (blank). The unit tells me login incorrect. Can anyone help on this problem. At the moment I have a down site. Thanks in Advance. mapodaca13@hotmail.com.
Somehow the previous engineer changed the password on the system. I got it from him. Now it looks like the service chip has expired. Because when I try to run a calibration it takes me back to the login/password screen.
There are some ways for not use iqout commands to do the job you need.
One of them is to use manexp command to choice a small shot with spinnin speed "0" and NO COMPENSATOR selected. Choice thics position of the tube in such way the tube remain in a confortable position for work. This will force compensator motor to move to NO COMP position.
WARNING: WHEN YOU TURN ON GANTRY, THIS MOTOR WILL MOVE FULL DISTANCE TO OUT AND IN. I use to push with my fingers over the axles until motor stop.
When motor stop at NO COMP position, place compensator making sure it remain at the same distance from the bottom. May be you prefer to use bad one to practice to place it at NO COMP position.
There is another way that involve make diagnostics available. Please feel free to contact me by email for more information

Check if you are writing ROOT or Root. The correct is root.

I'm writing lower case 'root' ... I've login to many PQ's before and never had this problem.
