The rotor included is a IEC #958 swinging tube 6 place rotor that accepts Babcock Bottles (6 & 6.5"), Falcon Conical Bottles (225/175ml) & centrifuge tubes (50/15 ml). This unit also works with the Centra 4, Centra HN & Centra CL4 rotor. Condition & Testing

This Damon IEC HN-SII Benchtop Centrifuge is in good cosmetic and tested working condition. Shows signs of everyday use in the form of minor scuffs in the finish and dings in the tub but no damage at all. Has an IEC #958 6 place swinging 6 place metal tube rotor. When tested it starts fast and runs quietly. We were able to test all functions with or without the timer by using the toggle switch. The speed dial goes to 3000 rpm. We tested it to spin at 2822 rpm with our RPM Meter, set on high. Solid steel construction and latching lid with viewport, however there is no safety lid lock. The toggle switches for the brake is good. The timer sets for 0 - 58 minutes. Guaranteed not to be DOA.
