Fault: Outer sheath broken or Outer sheath & inner fiber both broken
Solution:1.Clean up the fiber inside the connector,remove glue, dirties and all blots,then clean with alcohol.2.Cut the end of fiber and out sheath evenly.3.Wet the fiber with alcohol, apply some special glue.4.Put then back to the right position.5.After dry it by oven, do polishing from rough grind to fine grind.6.Adapt it into light source ,check the light.
Anyone else has more better ways to deal with it, welcome to reply!

If the outer sheath is torn, we replace it. If both the sheath and fibers are no good then we replace both components. This is really the only to perform a proper repair and keep to OEM standards.

Yes, if the crack is in the center, we'd better replace a new one, but if it's near the connector,here what we do is to do a small cut ,then reconnect the rest cable.
