Let's talk parts and service

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | June 24, 2015
Our first issue
As a platform for publicly trading medical equipment, DOTmed.com has always had a rare insight into parts and service — the success of the company depends on it, as do the people who buy and sell on our site everyday.

I remember when the first issue of DOTmed Business News came out in April of 2007. We approached our stories from the parts and service angle because that was what we knew.

In those days, it was as if every issue was a parts and service issue.

Since then our news operation has blossomed to encompasses a wide range of health care topics from a variety of perspectives. Our magazine's content (and title) have changed to reflect that, but the challenges associated with parts and service have hardly gone away.

We currently dedicate one issue of HealthCare Business News magazine per year to the topic of parts and service... and it's in August.

Our news team and I are reaching out to independent service providers, manufacturers, and end users to find out what kind of choices they are making to maximize their productivity while keeping costs down and ensuring smooth sailing into the coming years.

If you have insight into these important issues, let's talk.
