Greensboro- John Supra has been named the chief digital health and analytics officer at Cone Health.
In this role, Supra will connect the work of Cone Health’s information technology team and its Value-Based Care Institute. He will identify and use data to advance Cone Health’s value-based care goals. These goals include finding more opportunities to prevent illness and more effectively managing chronic diseases when they occur.
Prior to joining Cone Health, Supra served as chief digital health and analytics officer at Upstream, where he led the organization’s data and analytics capabilities to accelerate success in transforming senior care. He also previously worked as vice president and chief data officer at Prisma Health and as deputy director and chief information officer for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Supra holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
