Akumin Inc. and United Imaging have announced a multiyear, multimodality strategic alliance, with the partnership set to debut its first Center of Excellence at Akumin’s Plantation, Florida, facility in early 2025.
The revamped Plantation site will house United Imaging’s flagship systems, including the uMR OMEGA 75 cm 3T MRI and the uMI Panvivo PET/CT, which are designed to deliver high-speed imaging and improved diagnostic accuracy. The facility will also feature Akumin’s Radiology Command Center, providing services for hospitals and healthcare providers.
Akumin is a leading provider of imaging and radiation oncology services in the U.S., partnering with over 1,000 healthcare providers and physician groups.
