Former Genesis Magnet Services, LLC executive David Baldwin joined cryogenic sales and service business Cool Pair Plus to serve as vice president, DOTmed News has learned.
"Dave brings with him decades of industry experience in developing innovative ways to serve customers' cryogenic cooling and other magnet needs," Herminie, Penn.-based Cool Pair Plus said in a release. "Dave and the rest of the Cool Pair team are eager to work together to provide top-notch service for the company's customers."
Baldwin resigned his post as manager of Genesis Magnet Services on Aug. 19, Bob Carr, a company spokesman, told DOTmed News. Baldwin had been with the independent MRI sales and service organization since 1999, Carr said. He is also currently a minority owner of Genesis Magnet Services, Carr said.

None of the parties commented on the reason for the departure.
Wayne Tschirn, vice president of operations for Huntley, Ill.-based Genesis Medical Imaging, GMS' parent company, is filling in for Baldwin while the company hunts for a permanent replacement, Carr said. "He knows the business very well, and he's going to be overseeing it on a day-to-day basis. We're moving along like we always have," Carr said.
Tschirn joined GMI two years ago. Previously, he worked for Philips Healthcare and the IT company Comdisco, Inc.
“With Wayne currently overseeing the business, we look for positive GMS sales growth and customer relationships,” GMI's CEO Robert Dakessian said in prepared remarks.
