Here is an Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope
Setup for Brightfield with Phase Contrast and Fluorescence studies.
This Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope is in good working order with all aspects tested and working fully.
Microscope optics have been cleaned professionally under a class 10,000 clean room hood.
Please see the exact video and photos below.
Testing we performed:
The Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope passed all tests and was found to be fully functional:
Tested mechanical X/Y stage to limits: PASSED
Tested mechanical focus controls to limits: PASSED
Tested halogen lamp and controls: PASSED
Tested mercury lamp and source: PASSED
Tested port splitter and shutters: PASSED
Tested all filters and prisms: PASSED
Tested objectives and eyepieces for clarity: PASSED
Tested all components of both light paths: PASSED
Tested all switches and knobs: PASSED
Tested camera live feed and clarity: PASSED
During testing this Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope was found to have no issues.
A clear image was produced through the eyepieces as well as through the camera port.
All of the mechanical components moved freely and the test sample was able to be focused without excessive effort.

This Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope is currently set up for Brightfield viewing with Fluorescence and Phase Contrast studies.
The MU300 AmScope CMOS camera is capable of taking detailed digital images and live feed. The system includes a Dell Latitude i5 laptop running AmScope software.
In this video we will show the Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope system and all included components.
We begin the video with a shot of the entire Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope.
Next, we will show the AmScope software version on the laptop, and a live feed from the MU300 camera of a prepared slide.
We will then show some of the mechanical features, confirming any adjustments via the live feed camera.
We will also show fluorescence filters in both the halogen and mercury light paths.
We conclude the video with another full view of the entire Olympus IX50 Inverted Fluorescence Phase Contrast Microscope system.
