CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramics
It is a CAD/CAM software and a milling application. It is German made. The parent company is Sirona and is sold through Patterson Dental Supply. This machine is the 2006 version with current software upgrades, this is a big plus. It is my understanding that Sirona has changed the style of the milling unit but that they are experiencing difficulty with software, so in my opinion this older model is much more reliable.
Is mounted in a van for moving around to multiple customers and offices. Entire business package can be purchased if desired.
