Australia-based health imaging company Pro Medicus Limited has signed a 10-year contract with U.S.-based Trinity Health valued at $213 million (AUD $330 million) for the implementation of the Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform across the health system's network.

The rollout will replace legacy PACS from nine vendors with the cloud-based Visage 7 platform, including the Visage 7 Viewer, Visage 7 Open Archive, and Visage 7 Workflow modules. These tools will enable centralized image management and integration with Trinity's EHR system.

Trinity Health operates 93 hospitals and numerous other care facilities across 26 states, employing over 127,000 staff, including more than 9,300 employed physicians. The transition to Visage 7 will support over 650 radiologists and thousands of clinicians.

Pro Medicus CEO Dr. Sam Hupert emphasized the scale of the deal. “Trinity Health is our largest customer to date and the first with a national footprint,” he said. He noted that the platform’s cloud-based nature aligns with the growing preference in North America for such solutions.

The implementation will begin with planning immediately, with phased go-lives scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2025. Pro Medicus anticipates this contract will bolster its expansion within North America's integrated delivery networks (IDNs), a key growth area.

Founded in 1983, Pro Medicus has become a prominent player in medical imaging technology, offering scalable solutions for both public and private cloud environments. Its Visage 7 suite is designed to streamline diagnostics and improve clinician access to imaging data.

The company operates out of Melbourne, Berlin, and San Diego, with its latest agreement reinforcing its position as a leader in enterprise imaging solutions.
