November 15, 2018
Newton, Mass. – November 8, 2018 – (RSNA Booth #1553) Life Image, the world's largest network for sharing clinical and imaging data, today announced that it will be participating in the annual RSNA conference to promote the advancement of interoperability and the ability for healthcare professionals to work more efficiently. The company will be demonstrating its cutting-edge solutions, unveiling new partnerships, sponsoring lunch-and-learn sessions, and exhibiting at the conference, which is radiology’s premier event.

The company also announced that it will sponsor two educational lunch-and-learn sessions at the conference:
“The Future of Women’s Breast Health: Breakthrough Technologies in Breast Imaging and Patient Experience, and Clinical Research,” hosted by Health Management Technology/Healthcare Informatics EVP Kristine Russell, will focus on the future of women’s breast health in the areas of technology, research, population health and the patient experience. Panelists include Ethan Cohen, MD, Assistant Professor, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Division of Breast Imaging at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; Dr. Heather Greenwood, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in Breast Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco; Dr. Kathryn Pearson Peyton, MD, Chair of the Women’s Health Advisory Board for Mammosphere; and Cristin Gardner, Director of Consumer Products & Markets for Mammosphere. Life Image’s entire leadership team will be present at RSNA, including President and CEO Matthew Michela. “While RSNA is always an opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, this year’s show comes at an especially critical time in the industry,” said Michela. “We are in the midst of a major turning point in healthcare. With the increased adoption of common technology standards, many of the historical barriers that prevented interoperability with diagnostic images have now been diminished. Incorporating images to enrich traditional data sets at scale opens new capabilities in real world evidence, population health, and value-based care. With Life Image’s large global network for clinical information sharing, we are well positioned to help enable novel capabilities. We are looking forward to connecting and partnering with industry stakeholders to improve healthcare.”
