Four ASRT Staff Members Named ASQ-certified Quality Improvement Associates

ALBUQUERQUE -- The American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the world's largest association of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals, based in Albuquerque, N.M., announced four of its staff members are now American Society of Quality-Certified Quality Improvement Associates. They are Susan Ehrhorn, report specialist; Val Holm, C.P.A., accountant IV; Corrine Lucero, continuing education representative; and Karen Vitacco, continuing education manager. They join 12 other ASRT staff members who were previously certified.
This recognition comes from the ASQ, the world's leading authority on quality, with more than 100,000 individual and organizational members. ASQ certification is awarded to individuals who have reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating proficiency in and a comprehension of quality principles and practices. Certified Quality Improvement Associates play a prominent role in advancing quality principles within their organizations.
Individuals who earn this certification, following the successful completion of an examination, are allowed to identify themselves as such by using "ASQ CQIA" on their business cards and professional correspondence.
