Agfa Healthcare said Monday it won a three-year contract with the Premier health alliance, a group purchasing organization, for its full line of digital radiography products.
The contract takes effect Oct. 1 and runs through Aug. 31, 2015, and is the latest Premier deal received by Agfa since the two companies started working together in 1995. The deal is available for Premier's 2,600 hospitals and 84,000 health sites, Agfa said.
The new contract covers the DX-D 100, a portable unit, the DX-D 300, a motorized system, the DX-D 500n, which is ceiling-mounted, and the DX-D 600, which features auto-positioning and two cesium iodide detectors. The portable DX-D 10 and DX-D 20 detectors are also included under the deal.
Agfa is a subsidiary of the Agfa-Gevaert Group, based in Mortsel, Belgium.
