Healthcare professionals in the home medical equipment (HME, aka DME) sector could benefit from attending the Medtrade Conference and Expo, October 12-15, in Atlanta.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, MedTrade, the largest HME expo in the country, connects attendees with the opportunity to see new patient care products, view demonstrations of equipment and speak to industry leaders and manufacturers. Of course there will be ample time to network at the Oktoberfest event with other providers and professionals who also come to share their knowledge, resources and experiences. Among participants are HME providers, rehab providers, home health nurses, physical therapists, and others.
More than 500 firms will be exhibiting at the expo. Top names in the industry such as Anodyne Medical Devices, Inc.; Capstone Medical Products Group, Inc.; and Philips Respironics, Inc. will be on hand to show the latest developments in HME. The new product pavilion will showcase recently introduced or ready-to-launch products and participants can witness them hands-on.
There's a little under three weeks until the conference, but registration online is still possible. However, note MedTrade policy says that the expo floor is open to industry professionals exclusively and there is an admission fee of $500 for those who wish to attend without exhibiting.
